Farmhouse Kitchen
Converted Barn | West Sussex
For this architecturally interesting barn-style space we crafted a kitchen to embrace the natural warmth of this new build farmhouse. The furniture in English oak features prominently and is complemented by Volga blue granite surfaces in a textured, leathered finish. These in turn seamlessly blend with strong industrial metal work behind the Aga and the lighting feature over the island, both designed by us and forged by the same craftsmen.
The bespoke lighting enhances functionality and ambiance and makes this kitchen truly individual. The harmony of oak and painted furniture transforms the space into a welcoming living area. For additional practicality we designed in to the space a useful walk-in larder with oak-lipped shelves and pull-out veg bins and discreetly hid the large fridge freezer within the painted cabinetry. The adjacent boot room is designed to extend the kitchen's flow seamlessly.
