Handcrafted Kitchen
Victorian Villa | London

For this unique kitchen project in the lower ground floor of an important Victorian villa, we worked exceptionally closely with our client who sought a very specific Belgium 18th century period feel in keeping with the rest of her home. Every detail, from the turned legs to the furniture design, the aged paint finish to the ochre-coloured marble top, and driftwood desk, was meticulously tailored to her brief.

We sourced a stunning Louis XIV canopy to host her extraction and frame the La Cornue cooker, Belgian handles, and designed scalloped skirting. A round cupboard, crafted from a damp vaulted space under the driveway was tanked and designed to serve as a crockery cupboard. This project was all about unique features alongside the required functionality and convenience. An anti- kitchen sits behind the main area, again in the same style and detail providing a more functional space for hidden fridge freezers, storage and  a dumbwaiter which connects the kitchen to the dining room.
