Country Kitchen
Georgian Rectory | Surrey
In this Georgian rectory kitchen, the focus is on preserving historical charm while enhancing functionality. Original features are retained and restored, with a meticulous attention to period details. Large Georgian-style doors are made to open to the garden, complemented by custom-designed shutters.
The kitchen seamlessly connects to the dining room on one side and we designed a practical boot room at the other which serves as a buffer for daily life. Painted cabinets, secret fix shelving which maximise space and a bespoke Angola black granite surface creates a timeless aesthetic. The Aga nestles comfortably within the original fireplace as a focal point. A cleverly integrated workstation utilises alcove space efficiently. Noteworthy are the original servants' bells, a nostalgic nod to the home's heritage.
